A Season of Gratitude & Growth

A Message from the Executive Director

As we look to close another year, I am filled with gratitude for each of you and this place we call northeast Colorado. Our communities have faced so much change, some of it hard, some of it hopeful. Through it all, resilience, courage, and compassion have reigned supreme. Within the core sense of who we are as an agency, we believe that every person has value, voice, and the right to be included. This year reminded us why advocacy matters: it is not only about removing barriers, but also about building a future where people with IDD are seen, heard, and celebrated. Together, we have taken important steps forward. We have listened, learned, and lifted one another up. And while change can be challenging, it also brings the chance to imagine something better, change best created side by side. As we enter the new year, let us carry with us the hope that inclusion, acceptance, and belonging will continue to grow stronger in our communities. I am honored to walk this journey with you and excited for all that lies ahead.
